Cape Gate Hot rolled, finished steel products include wire rods, reinforcing bars, mild steel rounds, bars for mine roof bolts, angles, flats, and squares. Solid steel bars are available in straight length or coiled form.
Cape Gate Finished Steel products are used in the construction or engineering industries in their original or re-worked forms.
Certification includes also reinforcing for concrete or steel structures specifically for the building and infrastructure industries. The steel used to manufacture these products is produced from approximately 92% post-consumer recycled steel.
Cape Gate Wire products include black wire, galvanized wire, fencing products, and stranded products. These products are suitable for industrial, commercial, mining, agricultural, and residential use, and their main application is for cable armouring and fencing.
These products conform to South Africa National Standards, and the wire rods are manufactured from wire rods bearing the South African Bureau of Standards mark.
