Gyproc RhinoBoard® SoundBloc® consists of a gypsum core enhanced with additives and encased in blue-coloured, heavy-duty paper liners. The product is suitable for facilities such as hotels, healthcare and schools. Gyproc RhinoBoard® SoundBloc® is certified by the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) in accordance with the requirements of SANS 266: Gypsum Plasterboard – Definitions, Requirements and Test Methods.
The product is manufactured at Saint-Gobain's Cape Town facility, which is certified to ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management) standards. The product is intended for interior use in both commercial and residential applications.
