Gyproc MoistureResistant™ plasterboards consist of aerated gypsum core with water repellent additives encased in and bonded with paper liners. The board is intended for internal drylining applications and is specifically designed for use in Gyproc wall and ceiling systems. It serves as a suitable substrate for ceramic tiling in wet areas, such as bathrooms and kitchens, and is also suitable for use in external soffits located in sheltered environments, where limited exposure to moisture is expected.
Gyproc MoistureResistant™ is certified by the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) in accordance with the requirements of SANS 266: Gypsum Plasterboard – Definitions, Requirements and Test Methods.
The product is manufactured at Saint-Gobain's Cape Town facility, which is certified to ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management) standards. The product is intended to use in both commercial and residential applications.
